About OFATV
Our Mission
The Ontario Federation of All-Terrain Vehicle Clubs (OFATV) is a not-for-profit volunteer-driven association that along with support staff provides resources to our member clubs so that together, we are able to strengthen the public’s perception and the position; that our clubs strive to provide responsible, safe, legal, and environmentally-friendly trails, for riding all-terrain vehicles (ATVs & ROVs) in the province of Ontario.
Our Vision
To have one trail access model available, from one sustainable organization that represents the interests of recreational ATVers in Ontario.
Indigenous Land Acknowledgement
The OFATV recognizes that its work, and the work of its member clubs take place on traditional Indigenous territories across the province. We acknowledge that there are 46 treaties and other agreements that cover the territory now called Ontario. We are thankful to be able to work and live in these territories. We are thankful to the First Nations, Metis and Inuit people who have cared for these territories since time immemorial and who continue to contribute to the strength of Ontario and to all communities across the province. The OFATV is honoured to collaborate with Indigenous clients, stakeholders and communities throughout the various territories. We encourage our member clubs and trail riders to educate themselves and take concrete steps towards truth and reconciliation in their own spheres.
