Fall into Safety with the Ready to RideON Program — Save 10% This Season!
Developed by the Ontario Quad Safety Council (OQSC) and the Ontario Federation of ATV Clubs (OFATV), the Ready to RideON program was created specifically for Ontario riders. It offers both online learning modules and hands-on training that help riders of all ages understand the laws, safety gear, and best practices for off-road riding.
Knowledge is Powerful — and So is Preparation
In 2025, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported 14 deaths related to ATV incidents across the province. Shockingly, over one-third of those riders were not wearing helmets. The OPP also noted that the majority of fatal ATV crashes happen off-road — not on highways, but on private property or in the backcountry, where unpredictable terrain and lack of preparation can turn a fun day into a tragedy.
That’s why programs like Ready to RideON are so important. These programs go way beyond just teaching the rules. They give you the real-world knowledge and confidence you need to make smart choices out on the trails.
The Right Gear Saves Lives
Protective gear is your first line of defence. You need the right protective gear every single time you ride: a helmet that fits properly, gloves, goggles, long sleeves and pants, and sturdy boots. No exceptions. The Ready to RideON course explains how to select, fit, and maintain your gear to reduce injury risk and ride comfortably in all conditions.
Learn Together as a Family
The online course has six interactive modules that work great for families who want to learn together. Make one night a week your RideON Night: sit down, learn, and discuss each module as a group. It’s a fun, engaging way to build safer habits for riders of all ages.
